The Seventh Path

Sometimes I feel like a feather being tossed in the wind, sometimes this way and sometimes that way.  Other times I feel as if I'm on a great spinning wheel spiraling towards something I can't yet see.  I guess as long as what I believe in keeps me going in the right direction, I'm on the right path.  © 1997, 1998 Pathseven

I chose this screen name because both numerology and my own spirit tell me that I am on the seventh path. The Seventh Path is the path of the spiritual. It is the path that takes you on a journey for Truth, Wisdom, and Self. It uses the lessons learned on the previous six paths and helps you try to discover how to apply them to yourself. It is a solitary journey that causes the seeker to look inward for the answers. And if not careful, can create even more isolation.

The first six steps deal with the self and the self's immediate needs which lead to the acknowledgment that man operates best as a part of society. Once the culture is established and all physical needs are met, there is time to ponder the workings or the universe. This is what the seventh path offers.

The number Seven is recognized by most belief systems as a very powerful spirtual number. For example there are Seven days of creation, Seven generations from David to Jesus, Seven Devas of the Hindu Religion, Seven spirits of the Egyptian religion, Seven Amschaspands of the Persian faith, Seven angels in the book of Ezekiel, Seven angels of the Chaldeans, Seven Sephiroth of the Hebrew Kaballah, Seven Archangels in Revelation, Seven seals in Revelation, God rested on the seventh day, etc.

Most seven personalities tend to be loners who are very different in private than they are in public. They are usually very sensitive to the vibrations of others and are often considered to be psychic. Seven partners make wonderful partners and are passionate and sensual - but can be difficult, though never boring, to live with.

The seventh stage leads to an understanding of the self and its interaction with the universe. Through striving for higher levels of awareness, one opens up to an understanding of why and ultimately, the acceptance of the answer.

This is the path of introspection, analysis, study, meditation. Some keywords are spirituality, understanding, eccentricity, introspection, searching. It symbolizes the need to delve deeper into the self's spiritual connection. It addresses the need to educate ourselves and others. The Path Seven Person is probing, investigative and requires quiet in order to attain depth of meaning of self and the inner voice. Seven is also the number of discrimination in all areas.

I am by no means an authority, I am merely a novice of the spirit, of the universe and of life. I salute all others who choose to walk this path of life because it is not an easy one. I hope my experiences, thoughts, and questions help you on whatever path of life you are on.
